Looking to transform your team-building day? Our full-day DJ workshop is an immersive, hands-on experience that goes far beyond the usual corporate event. Designed to boost confidence, spark creativity, and ignite collaboration, your team will work together to master the fundamentals of DJing. Through fun, interactive challenges, every member gets behind the decks and contributes to a final performance that is truly unique and unforgettable. It’s an exciting way to strengthen your team, create lasting memories, and discover hidden talent within your company.
Schedule Outline:
● 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM | Welcome & Intro (30 mins)
○ Welcome and introduction to the world of DJing.
○ Overview of the day's schedule and team challenges.
○ Icebreaker to get the energy up.
● 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM | Morning DJ & Team Challenges (4 hours)
Each of the up to 8 employees will get a dedicated 30-minute, one-on-one DJing session, while each person is on the decks, the rest of the team will be engaged in interactive, collaborative challenges:
■ Music Detective:
Teams work together to identify classic tracks and build a shared music library.
■ Themed Setlist Challenge:
Teams are given a random theme (e.g., "Summer BBQ" or "Retro 80s") and must curate a 10-track setlist for their team member to perform.
■ Mix It Up Challenge:
Teams create a list of funny or specific sound effects and transitions for the DJ to try to incorporate.
● 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM | Lunch Break (1 hour)
● 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM | The Final Showcase (1.5 hours)
○ Round Robin Performance:
Each employee gets one more chance to get behind the decks for a shorter, live "showcase" of their newfound skills.
○ Team "Hype" Challenge:
Teams are tasked with creating a short, fun "introduction" for their DJ before they perform, including a team name and a creative slogan. This builds excitement and a bit of friendly competition.
○ The Final Set:
The group can vote for one of the team members to play a final set, with the entire team collaborating on the final tracklist.
● 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM | Wrap-Up & Debrief (30 mins)
Group photo and a final round of applause. Discussion of the day and how the skills of teamwork, planning, and adapting can be applied back in the workplace.
